Greater Than, Less Than Lesson

A craft and math all in one! To teach my daughter greater than, less than we made an alligators mouth with two popsicle sticks, googly eyes, and teeth.

First, I used Cheerios that she counted and pointed the alligator at the greater than amount. I had her say the math sentence (ex. 5 is less than 10).

After she understood the concept a bit more, I used playing cards to help with number recognition.

This is great for ages 5-9!
